A few signals should alert you: an old fuse box, breakers that trip often, sockets without earthing or original wiring that has never been redone. During our visit, we examine your installation and we tell you clearly what needs to be redone and what can stay as it is.
Most of the time, no. For work on one or two rooms, you can usually stay at home. We only cut the power when it is necessary and we let you know in advance. For a complete electrical renovation, we organise the work to keep daily disruption to a minimum.
Not always. Depending on the layout of your home, we can sometimes use surface trunking or localised chasing rather than opening everything up. When the electrics are redone as part of a larger renovation, we coordinate the chasing with the other work for a clean result and no needless damage.
